Join PAMA, Matthew Wilkinson from Heritage Mississauga and artist Daniel Wong for a look at remembrance, war and comics.

In partnership with Spent Pencils, Heritage Mississauga produces a heritage-themed comic book each year that celebrate the stories of Mississauga.

Matthew Wilkinson will discuss the Mississauga Remembers research program at Heritage Mississauga, recent historical discoveries and local connections. Discover how stories of service are researched and created into comics that can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.

Daniel Wong has been the artist creating the comics since the project began in 2013. Learn from Daniel how he conceptualizes a story into a visual narrative.

This program is free and will be facilitated through Microsoft Teams. Registration is required. Reserve your spot here.
